Solar industry offers Virginia the possibility of new jobs

ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, Va. (WHSV) — A new study from the solar foundation found that Virginia could create more than 50,000 new jobs if the commonwealth developed enough solar energy to meet ten percent of residents’ needs over the next five years.
