Proposed Columbus asphalt plant sparks debate over traffic, environment

The Columbus City Council is scheduled to vote Wednesday on a zoning change that would put paving company Bituminous Roadways one step closer to building an asphalt plant that opponents say would bring traffic, noise and odors to the north metro city.
